What a busy time signing day was here on WholeHogSports.com. I hope you enjoyed the coverage, which included real-time updates, plenty of tweets (@bmarcello) and live video in our Signing Day Central section.
In wrapping up our coverage, here are 18 19 links to some of our stories, blogs and videos, and other articles around the nation concerning the Razorbacks’ signing day haul.

Arkansas Coach Bobby Petrino introduced his 2010 recruiting class Wednesday and faced questions about national rankings. (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/MICHAEL WOODS)
— If you want to make yourself familiar with the 2010 class, here are the 25 young men’s bios and Coach Bobby Petrino’s take on each of the signees. You can check out our Signing Day Central section for videos and photos of the stars. And, if you’d like to relive the live blog I did yesterday during the signing day announcements, check that out with a click here.
And Bob Holt wraps up the day with his signing day story on WholeHogSports.com and in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
— Arkansas’ recruiting class jumped up in the rankings slightly yesterday with some late additions. Rivals.com ranks the Hogs’ haul 48th nationally and 10th in the SEC. Meanwhile, Scout.com was more favorable with the Hogs and ranked them 36th in the nation and ninth in the SEC.
As I wrote yesterday on The Slophouse, the class was all about future development. Petrino has been down this low-ranked road before, and he’s always come back a winner.
— A big reason for Arkansas’ tick up the rankings was the pulling of Oklahoma stars DT Calvin Barnett and LB Jarrett Lake. Barnett’s last-minute switch as a commit to Oklahoma State was the most surprising, and was called one of the biggest signing day shockers this year by Rivals.com.
You can credit Arkansas offensive coordinator Garrick McGee for getting them over to Arkansas. His Sooner State ties proved huge down the stretch. You can watch some video interviews I shot with coaches about McGee’s Sooner State pipeline.
The Tulsa World was all over the Barnett and Lake de-commitments from Oklahoma State and Oklahoma, respectively. Barnett will join Booker T. Washington teammate Eric Bennett in Fayetteville, and made his intentions known Wednesday by shedding a windbreaker to reveal a red Razorback sweater vest during his signing day ceremony.
Meanwhile, Lake’s signing dealt more with whether the star would be academically eligible. Apparently, according to a man who identified himself as Lake’s father, the future linebacker has scored a 20 on his ACT. Lake has an interesting story, as the Tulsa World explains.
— Inside the state’s borders, Arkansas held on to five stars within the high school ranks. None were bigger (literally) than defensive tackle Byran Jones, writes Robert Yates (Arkansas Democrat-Gazette).
And don’t forget about Little Rock Catholic tight end Garrett Uekman. Our Tim Cooper has more on him here. Arkansas recruiting coordinator Tim Horton told a gathering of reporters yesterday that Uekman was his favorite recruit, even though, he admitted, there should be no such thing on the recruiting trail.
We’ve got video from Uekman’s signing as well on WholeHogSports.com.
Meanwhile, running back Braylon Mitchell‘s signing in Heber Springs was bringing back flashbacks for his cousin — Arkansas basketball legend Corliss Williamson. Our Doug Crise has more on that story here as well.
— Over in Memphis, the Tigers picked up a familiar face. Former Razorback Khiry Battle signed with Memphis on Wednesday after being dismissed from the football team in 2009.
— Richard Davenport writes today on WholeHogSports.com that the national perception of Arkansas’ recruiting class improved a bit on signing day. Wally Hall tells us that the class may be light on stars, but it could still shine.

That should cover it for National Signing Day. Oh, and by the way, there was a basketball game last night. The Razorbacks knocked off Georgia in a great second-half comeback, 72-68. Coach John Pelphrey will be available to the media at 2 p.m. today and we’ll have more coverage on the Slophouse, Twitter and on WholeHogSports.com. Check back with us.
Make sure to check out WholeHogSports.com and the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette for more coverage. You can also follow us on Twitter for breaking news updates with @bmarcello and @wholehogsports.

Ya know, it helps if you say WHY he’s wrong. Just screaming “YER WRONG!” makes you look even more retarded and pathetic.
