Open line: SEC Tournament (Day 1) discussion

I’m going to leave it to you here in the Slophouse today. I’m off to Hot Springs for the next few days to cover the state high school championships on our sister site, ARPreps.com.

This is your open line to discuss the SEC Tournament, including Arkansas’ late tip (8:45 p.m. CT) against Georgia today in the first round. The most intriguing game of the day to me is Auburn vs. Florida at 6:30 p.m. If the Tigers hit some three-pointers, Florida could be in for an upset.

A bracket with tip times is below. Discuss.

  1. I don’t see Arkansas moving out of the first round. The SEC West is so weak this year I don’t see any of them winning a first round matchup.

  2. Well, there’s been one West-win already. I don’t see LSU or Auburn winning though.

  3. Mentioned this on Twitter, but the four teams in the day session have hit just 37 percent from the field. Strangely low. Will Hogs heat up in the nightcap at 8:45 p.m.?

By the way, made it to Hot Springs for the high school state championships. We’re live blogging here at Summit Arena for the late games if you want to join us on ARPreps.com.

What have you guys thought of the action at the SEC tourney so far?
