8:37 a.m.: Petrino, of course, also believes the Razorbacks’ defense “must eliminate the big play.” Arkansas would stay close in games, including in the 35-7 loss to Alabama, and would give up a couple of big plays and fall out of contention.
8:33 a.m.: It took Bobby Petrino less than 2 minutes to address Arkansas’ expectations of winning a championship.
The Razorback fans’ “expectations are very high” and the team is “embracing high expectations,” Petrino says.
Petrino also says quarterback Ryan Mallett has been throwing for the last few weeks and is expected to be 100 percent healthy when camp starts in two weeks.
