Arkansas is practicing in the rain at Reynolds Razorback Stadium this afternoon. That could come in handy as forecasts call for a chance of showers Saturday night when the No. 14 Razorbacks host Louisiana-Monroe at Little Rock’s War Memorial Stadium.
Zach Stadther was back at practice today after not dressing out in Saturday’s game against Tennessee Tech. Stadther had worn a black scout team jersey last week but was back in a white defensive jersey today. Still, the junior defensive tackle was working out with members of the scout team in the 20-minute open period.
Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino was asked about Stadther on Monday. He said Stadther’s status for this coming weekend is still undetermined and added, “At some point you have to realize we’re only going to talk about players that play and practice.”
Linebacker Bret Harris and defensive tackle Patrick Jones both appeared to be absent from Tuesday’s practice. Both missed Saturday’s game with injuries.
Freshman defensive tackle Jeremiah Jackson, who played in Jones’ absence on Saturday, wasn’t spotted wearing a white defensive jersey.
