The Arkansas men won the 2010 SEC Cross Country championship today in Columbia, S.C.
The Razorbacks recorded 34 points to win the title. Senior Dorian Ulrey finished third place overall in the individual standings.
It is Arkansas coach Chris Bucknam’s first SEC championship in cross country in his third season at the school. Bucknam has also won two indoor track and field conference championships and one outdoor track and field conference championship at Arkansas.
Prior to 2008, the Razorbacks had won 34 consecutive conference championships in cross country, including every SEC meet since joining the league. Arkansas will go for its 12th national championship in cross country on Nov. 22 in Terre Haute, Ind.
The Razorbacks women finished second Monday at the conference race, just one point behind champion Florida.
